Jebsen & Jessen Indonesia Building Unity and Wellness: Fun Walk and Amazing Race

In a celebration of health, unity, and community spirit, Jebsen & Jessen Indonesia Group organized a remarkable Health & Wellness event on July 29, 2023. After a hiatus caused by the global pandemic, this event marked a reunion for JJID members across different regions, including Jakarta, Cileungsi, and Tangerang. With more than 200 participants, the event consists of two exciting activities: Fun Walk and Amazing Race. Set against the backdrop of Ragunan Zoo, the event aimed to promote physical well-being, mental acuity, and the invaluable bond of togetherness.

As the sun glowed, participants eagerly gathered together at Ragunan Zoo for the opening of the Fun Walk at 8:30 AM. The 3-kilometer route through the enchanting zoo included diverse habitats such as the lively bird aviary, the playful monkeys, the majestic elephants, and the tigers. Participants also relished the opportunity to enjoy the sprawling lake that graced the heart of the zoo. The Fun Walk not only freshens up the participants physically but also offered a serene relaxing in nature.

After completing the journey, participants gather at the Pavilion Terrace Area to indulge in delicious snacks and recharge their energy. The event transitioned to the next phase-Amazing Race.

At precisely 10:30 AM, the Amazing Race began. Six teams, composed of JJID colleagues from different regions, embarked on an Amazing Race journey. The competition featured five diverse missions, each representing a facet of Jebsen & Jessen's Health & Wellness pillars: physical fitness, intelligence, and courage.

The missions included:

1. Find Your Pets (Physical & Social)

2. Human Pyramid (Physical)

3. The Chosen One (Mindfulness, with a choice between "untangled" or "find the exit")

4. Hunt of Duty (Social & Mindfulness)

5. We Choose Reuse (Environmental & Financial)

The Amazing Race challenged participants both physically and mentally, pushing them to their limits while building a sense of collaboration. Each team demonstrated remarkable resilience and unwavering dedication, highlighting the unity, even among those who had just met for the first time.

At 1 PM, the event drew to a close with a shared lunch and announce the winner of the Amazing Race. ​ Team 1 (Dimas Nugroho, Rochmat Husada, Dafit, Yohana Sihombing, Aditya Prihambada dan Ina Astuti) as the winner will be Indonesia’s representative in the final regional. The organizing committee expressed their gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement in the Fun Walk and Amazing Race, emphasizing the hope for future successful events.
